"Everything!!! Communication brilliant as we were coming in the early hours. The hosts went more than out their way, to ensure we had our correct room requirements, ie one king, one single, breakfast super!! highly recommend this place!!!"

"New hotel which has just opened. Staff were very attentive and friendly. As the hotel had only just opened there were a couple of small things which did not affect our stay. They were sorted by the staff. "

"Property is well located close to a mall and lots of food outlets. There are plenty of carparks available. The room itself is spacious, the shower has great pressure and the bed is very comfortable. The property is showing signs of its age, and would do great with a revamp. "

"Loved it. The room was excellent with plenty of space, BUT the bathroom was in a poor state of repair. The water tap over the hand basin was hanging from the bench! Towel rail missing with bolts still in wall, toilet roll holder hanging down, and clothes hook on door missing half of it. Shower was excellent, kitchen fully appointed, bed comfortable and clean, and even a washing machine supplied! We would definitely stay there again, if bathroom was repaired."

"A curious property. We stayed for one night on our way back from the far North of NZ. No on-site dining of any kind was available: no breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The "Cafe" was closed. Our room/studio was quiet, with a separate bedroom featuring the best mattress of our long trips to NZ. The main room had a ton of floor space, with very little furniture, and a huge electric massage chair in one corner. Nothing bad, just peculiar! "Loved my stay: Devonport is a great base for exploring Auckland, and the run along the coast to a Cheltenham beach around the headland is fantastic. My room was comfortable but I would have appreciated a desk where I could sit and work. "

"We enjoyed our stay. Nice modern and well furnished property. Quiet location and long beach 5min drive away. Only thing was need to bring own linen as only bottom sheet and duvet provided and wasn’t stipulated on website. Comfy beds. Would stay here again. "
